A few days ago, the internationally renowned Japanese architect Kengo Kuma visited The Ellinikon Project at the former international Airport of Athens.

During his visit, he met with the Chief Development and Investment Portfolio Officer of Lamda Development, Ms. Melina Paizi, and other company executives to receive updates on the development of the large-scale urban regeneration project, which in a few years will be accessible for all the residents of Athens and the visitors from abroad to enjoy.

Kengo Kuma and his architectural firm, Kengo Kuma & Associates, are actively involved in the project of The Ellinikon and, in partnership with the Greek architecture & planning office Betaplan, have undertaken the architectural plans and design of the Riviera Galleria, the new destination in the Marina of Ag. Kosmas, which will offer visitors a multifaceted and high-end experience of shopping, gastronomy and entertainment. The Riviera Galleria will be an architectural landmark for Greece and the world.

Among the numerous awards and accolades he has received, Kengo Kuma has also been the only architect to be included in Time Magazine's 2021 Most Influential People list for his work in designing world-renowned projects such as Japan's National Stadium, which hosted the Tokyo Olympics and the spectacular The Exchange building in Sydney.
